What areas of Ward 4 are served by ERCV?
ERCV includes the neighborhoods of Brightwood, Colonial Villages, Manor Park, North Portal Estates, Shepherd Park and Takoma DC.
Who may participate in ERCV?
Residents 50 years of age and older in the neighborhoods listed above may become members with the payment of an annual membership fee. Volunteers need not be members; they must over age 18 and can live in any neighborhood, but must be trained and vetted as Village volunteers.
Why should I join ERCV?
Many people join ERCV because they want to continue to live in their own home and neighborhood and gain a sense of well being knowing that they are part of a caring community with volunteers ready to help when needed. Some join to make new friends and enjoy socializing in the neighborhood. Members meet up for exercise, share a meal, go on outings.
What are the membership categories and costs?

If the need arises, social members may convert to service membership. Basic members must pay the additional cost associated with a service membership. The converting member is responsible for pro-rating that portion of the fee that is tax-deductible for tax filing purposes.
